A Brief Synopsis of ADA Film Studio's
FATAL EGGS

1920s. Russia. Aided by Satan, Professor of zoology Persikov discovers a red ray facilitating the growth of living organisms immensely. Experiments with frog roes yielded fantastic results. Professor Persikov orders crocodile, snake and ostrich eggs in South America to continue his experiments.

A strange epidemic is raging in the country which is effecting hens. To save national poultry breeding the Republic’s security agency (GPU) decides to use Persikov’s ray. The operation is entrusted to the head of the GPU agricultural department, named Rokk - an ex-cavalry man - an ignorant if selfless person. Rokk ships the ray-producing chambers from Prof. Persikov’s laboratory to the state farm which he was appointed to head. He also orders hen’s eggs from abroad.

At the store-house he chances upon big eggs intended for Prof.Persikov. He bribes the storekeeper and takes those eggs to his state farm. From the ray-processed eggs gigantic and fast-growing crocodiles, snakes and ostriches are batched. Rokk’s wife is strangled by a mutant anaconda, and Rokk goes mad and dies in a mad-house. The multiplying vipers devour everything in their path as they advance toward Moscow where panic, pillage, pogroms and marauding are rampant.

The authorities take the shaken Persikov under their protection. They award him a golden watch and urge him to continue experimenting to develop a zoological weapon. Persikov takes refuge in his institute. A raging mob breaks in and destroys his equipment. Amid general confusion Persikov is stabbed to death by a criminal who takes his watch. The country is saved from destruction by a cold snap and snow. The angry Satan leaves Moscow.
