The future of paleopedology commission

Dear Colleagues: How sad to hear about the formal demise of the
Paleopedology Commission. And that means, of course, the loss of the
important subcommissions, including those focusing on practical applications
of paleosols for engineering and environmental assessments. But I look
forward to the on-going discussion about some sort of reorganization.
