объявляет вакансию на должность Координатора Проекта
"Женский Консорциум СНГ-Америка", поддерживаемого USAID,
для работы в Киеве.
В настоящее время в Консорциуме насчитывается 92 члена-
неправительственные организации из России, Украины и США.
Организация имеет офисы в Киеве, Москве и Вашингтоне. Консорциум
посвящен усилению влияния женских организаций в демократических
преобразованиях в СНГ. Консорциум обеспечивает обучение женщин
лидерству,предоставление женским организациям технической помощи
и распространению информации.
Координатор будет организовывать и обслуживать офис в Киеве включая
картотеки, бюджет и связь.
Требуемая квалификация:
* Владение английским,русским и украинским языками;
* Опыт в управлении малыми грантами и знание USAID процедур;
* Связи с широкой публикой,умение вести переговоры, навыки
письменного соглашения;
* Способность взаимодействовать с международными организациями,
агентствами и высшими правительственными чиновниками;
* Управленческие, организационные, концептуальные и аналитические навыки;
* Основные навыки работы на компьютере.

West-NIS Coordinator for NIS-US Women's Consortium

Winrock International Institute for Agricultural Development is
seeking a West NIS Coordinator for the NIS-US Women's Consortium,
a USAID-supported project. The position will be based in Kyiv,
Ukraine with a significant amount of local travel in the West NIS
(Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova), and begins immediately.
The NIS-US Women's Consortium is a membership organization cur-
rently composed of 92 NGOs in Russia, Ukraine and the US as well
as 5 individual advisors. It has offices in Kyiv, Moscow and
Washington DC. The Consortium is dedicated to increasing the
capacity of NIS women's NGOs and empowering their leaders to
raise women's status and strengthen their participation in the
process of democratic transition. The Consortium provides women's
leadership training, seed grants to NIS women's NGOs, technical
assistance and information dissemination.
The West NIS Coordinator, in coordination with various Winrock
offices, will establish and maintain a functioning office in Kyiv
including files, budget and communication procedures to facili-
tate Consortium activities.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating program activities of the Kyiv office of the Con-
sortium with its Washington DC and Moscow counterparts to
accomplish Consortium goals and objectives;
* Managing a seed grant program for local women's NGOs;
* Providing financial reporting to Winrock HQ in conjunction with
local staff accountant;
* Overseeing the women's leadership training program;
* Informing USAID in Kyiv of Consortium progress and assisting US
Coordinator with completion of all written reports to USAID
Washington DC;
* Working with current Ukrainian members to expand the Consortium
to Belarus and Moldova; and
* Providing technical assistance and information to members and
other institutions interested in the women's movement in the
West NIS.
Qualifications include:
* Demonstrated commitment to women's equality and familiarity
with the women's movement in the NIS;
* Bilingual English/Russian or English/Ukrainian fluency;
* Small grants management experience and knowledge of USAID pro-
cedures;
* Public relations, negotiation, public speaking, and writing
skills;
* Ability to interact with donor organizations, international
agencies and senior government officials;
* Management, organizational, conceptual, and analytical skills;
* A master's degree and at least 3 years experience in the non-
profit sector in the former Soviet Union; and
* Basic computer skills, with Microsoft Word preferred.
