INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ECOLOGICAL ECONOMICS AND AGRICULTURAL
SUSTAINABILITY:
 THEME: Sustainable land use is not only a question of pricing, allocation,
technology, or economic policy. It is also a matter of negotiating
agreements
among people with diverse interests about what land is used for, by whom
and how
it is managed. This involves better tools for dealing with conflict,
adaptive
management, resource quality assessment and user friendly monitoring
indicators
at various levels of social aggregation. This workshop will consider these
issues.

THE FORMAT OF THE WORKSHOPS:

 Workshop will involve the presentation of about 15 to 20 papers in and
audience of about 40 participants. The papers will be selected on merit and
relevance and selected papers will be published in book form as the
Workshop
proceedings.

ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT:

 Each person presenting a paper will be entitled to local accomodation and
living costs for the duration of the workshop.

INVITATION FOR ABSTRACTS:

 Abstracts are invited for the Workshop and the closing date for
consideration will be Tuesday 31st March. 
Abstract of not more than one page should be emailed to the Workshop
Coordinator and intention to attend
directed to the Workshop administrator Ami Braholm (email
