FADR is situated in the Science Park of Moscow State University and has developed an Internet Center which is unique among Russian agricultural institutions. The center has high connectivity (100Mbs) up-link to MSU-net with direct access to M9 and consequently Russian and International channels. Back-up channels secure server operations.
In strategic partnership with the Internet-providing company R-Consult FADR presents a full range of Internet services, including provision of dedicated lines, web design, web hosting and collocation, and support of electronic conferences. FADR develops Linux based network projects, including e-commerce systems. The modem pool allows FADR to provide access to both FADR staff and partners.
